Privacy Policy

• Your account details: name, email, phone, and business info.
• Your business ZIP code, so new estimates start with it and prices are checked for your area, and your preferred language, which we keep with your account.
• The estimates and customers you create. A spreadsheet you import is read by our AI provider, and Bidkova keeps no copy of the file.
• How you use the app, so we can fix problems and improve it.
• Payment details, which are handled by Stripe. We never store card numbers.

Your phone number is optional. We store it with your account and do not use it for anything yet. We never sell it or use it for marketing.

To run the service: build your estimates, look up live prices, send email, process payments, and support you. We use trusted providers to do this (for example Stripe for payments, Clerk for sign-in, Supabase for storage, Postmark for email, PostHog for product analytics, a price-search provider for local supplier prices, and AI providers to generate and review estimates), and we share only what each one needs to do its job. Bidkova's founder can see account details and estimate titles to run and support the service.

We use PostHog to understand how the app and our marketing site are used: which screens get visited and where people get stuck. We also use Sentry to catch errors, and both tools replay a small sample of visits, and Sentry also replays a visit where an error happens, as a screen recording with every input and all text masked. When you are signed in, PostHog recordings are linked to your account so we can help you when something goes wrong. All of this runs only on the signed-in app and our own marketing pages.

The pages your customers see, the proposal and invoice links you send them, carry no analytics and are never session-recorded. We do note the first time a proposal is opened, and our error tool times a small sample of page loads. Your customers are not profiled or counted by PostHog. Basic error monitoring runs there so we can fix a page that breaks, and the private link itself is stripped out of every error report before it leaves the browser.

Bidkova saves the prices it sees over time. We keep those pricing, regional, and project-type patterns to improve accuracy and build future features, but they're stored with the section title as you wrote it, the job's ZIP code and a reference to the estimate, and with no customer name or contact field, so the insight never comes at the cost of your privacy.
