What we collect

• Your account details: name, email, phone, and business info.
• The estimates, customers, and files you create or upload.
• How you use the app, so we can fix problems and improve it.
• Payment details, which are handled by Stripe. We never store card numbers.

Your phone number

We collect it for account security and for the SMS notifications you opt into. We never sell it, share it, or use it for marketing.

How we use your data

To run the service: build your estimates, look up live prices, send email, process payments, and support you. We use trusted providers to do this (for example Stripe for payments, Clerk for sign-in, Supabase for storage, Postmark for email, PostHog for product analytics, and AI providers to generate and review estimates), and we share only what each one needs to do its job.

Analytics, and where we never use it

We use PostHog to understand how the app and our marketing site are used: which screens get visited and where people get stuck. We also use Sentry to catch errors, and both tools replay a small sample of visits as a screen recording with every input and all text masked. When you are signed in, PostHog recordings are linked to your account so we can help you when something goes wrong. All of this runs only on the signed-in app and our own marketing pages.

The pages your customers see, the proposal and invoice links you send them, carry no analytics and are never session-recorded. Your customers are not profiled or counted by PostHog. Basic error monitoring runs there so we can fix a page that breaks, and the private link itself is stripped out of every error report before it leaves the browser.

The pricing dataset

Bidkova gets smarter as it sees real prices over time. We keep those pricing, regional, and project-type patterns to improve accuracy and build future features, but they're stored separately from anything that identifies you or your customers, so the insight never comes at the cost of your privacy.

Your control

• Export everything as CSV and PDF anytime, even after you cancel.
• Ask us to delete your account and data. Email support@bidkova.com.
• Opt out of SMS notifications whenever you want.
